I have never seen or heard of a Mustang SVO convertible, odd to say the least.

84 GT350, not a SVO. They were available with either the turbo 4 or 175hp 5.0 V8.

I think it can slide, that's really not a $4000 car.

Yup, those were the 20th anniversary Mustangs.

You could get four cylinder turbo Mustangs starting in 1979.

Yep, easiest way to spot an SVO is that they had single headlights. Flush-mounted after 85.5.

And five bolt wheels.

I thought the GT350 was the sellers way of increasing traffic ,learned something new everyday.

I remember when those things came out. I'm pretty sure that it was just white paint, red interior, a dash plaque, unique wheels (that may have been TRX sized) and the tape stripes. You could get the V8 or the turbo four. They really weren't all that special, but I always kind of liked them anyway.

The GT was only two years old at the time and I'm not sure that the V8 GT 350 was actually a GT underneath.

I don't think they're all that rare. I've seen a lot of them.

And rear disc brakes, and different front LCAs, etc. But headlights are easier to see.
