I sold a late '90s Cannondale R600 road bike and got it back after Fedex damaged it during shipping. It is worth fixing, but might be worth more in parts. The front fork has a broken aluminum dropout, the rear wheel is a little out of round, and it has a couple of light scratches and dings on the frame. It sold for $455 on eBay. I could probably get a used fork and put it on for around $50 or so, but frankly after the trouble it has caused me I no longer want to deal with it. Really, a brave person might be able to JB Weld the dropout back together and be fine. But I'd be too nervous about hitting a bump at 25 mph and all hell breaking loose.
It is a large. It is complete. And it was very near perfect before Fedex knocked it around. I guess the most valuable bits would be the nine speed Ultegra Flight Deck shifters and computer. It has an almost new 105 rear derailleur. I think the wheels are Mavic.
It is located in Birmingham, Alabama. I can answer questions about any specifics once I am home and actually looking at it.
