Worth about half that as parts. It does have an eight port head which could the the desirable small journal 1296.
Looks like a good project base, if the rust repair isn't too bad. Much of it looks like surface rust. Seems like it was stripped to bare metal and then not touched for too long.
No, a restorer won't make money when done, but it could be a fun way to kill a few winters... If I were closer and had the space, I'd be tempted... although I'm not a big round-tail fan, so I'd probably sell it when finished. Sometimes you save them just because.
Note the date on the photos is 2004....
