I'll let someone who speaks civic clarify, but I think that body style is much lighter than equivalent sedan. Same drive train. You can do the math.

Maybe the Hongs will chime in with specifics.

You obviously have never driven from Hawaii to Ohio. It's a haul, easy to rack up the miles on that commute!
