The hard part's done (freeing the rusty fender bolts). That's probably a pretty good deal.

I've always had a thing for these, unfortunately it's too damn expensive to make any power out of an ACVW compared to other swappable options - yet I have a feeling those might ruin the character of the buggy?

Subaru flat 4 keeps the spirit with better power, reliability, ect. Doesn't really ruin it at all :)
