Appears to be a cadet that someone chopped the back of the roof/trunk open........if Opel actually built it that way I'd be asking if they had British Leyland build it while they were on strike.
Definitely home made, look where the tubing meets the B pillar. I'll bet this used to be a wagon.
I had the same Kadett model that this thing was made from. It was a cool little car but parts are hard enough to come by that I gave it away. It would have been a great swap candidate if I'd had the time.
Not sure how I feel about the truck thing....fairly well executed but looks like it's trying hard to return to the earth.
