In Portland, needs a trans. Looks like rough shape, but for $800? Might be worth it...

Wow. It's a good thing thats far away.
It's also good to know I'm not the only Georgian who browses Portland Craigslist!
lol. I usually don't, but it popped up on the ford truck forum I frequent, and after all the talk here lately on HD trucks, I though there might be some interest.
You're still the only one.
That is cheap. I don't think he could get 4000 for the engine but that isn't in that bad of shape. Hell, the camper may be worth 800.
In reply to markwemple:
The late 7.3's can command $2k+ for just the engine, but not that one. '95 was an option year for the turbo wasn't it?
In reply to WOW Really Paul?:
It was an option year, but he lists it as a turbo, and it is wearing the powerstroke badge....

Funny I didn't know that. My 95 F super duty tow truck has a 7.3 powerstroke.
Yeah, a good running low-mileage 7.3 Powerstroke is easily worth $4k. But one that is in a tweakers meth-mobile that you have to tow away is worth less. I don't know exactly what year the PS7.3 came around, but it sure looks like that one has Powerstroke badges. Could be a good deal for someone.
Pre-94 was the option with turbo or nonturbo. 94 PSD's were the "weakest", but still functional. All PSD's are turbo'd.
But to fix that trans is an EASY $2500.....
