Totally live in Richmond, but who the heck puts their car for sale in just a facebook group? Any other link to the car? I'm sure it'd go pretty quick on c-list for $500.
if you want the car today, he said he would sell it today (WITHOUT TITLE) for $250.. i'm in Knoxville TN and a 6 hour drive away.
Craiglist is horrible, i'll never buy anything there again unless i'm desperate.
The biggest issue is dealing with people who want a title. The dude doesn't have one and won't be getting one, he's frustrated that people can't seem to understand that... well, for a race car,, we don't care..
The police care. Does he have any proof that it isn't stolen or that he got it legally? Does he at least have a decent story about why there is no title?

As a car guy i also must respond to the Police comment. My understanding from the seller is that he bought it without title from an abandoned auction, got it running and was going to use it for a drag car, then his baby was born and he has some bills, needs to push the easy button on $$$. I would never buy, attempt to buy, or attempt to help sell known stolen property, especially cars. I've had far too many friends with stolen cars to help those ba^&)%^^(. Usually my reaction to a car thief is to get a rope and find a high tree...

winner!!! good cars exist for cheap after all, now to go find those mythical unicorns that poop butterflys.
