Not QUITE $2009, but close enough

Alright... what do you think the chances are that this is a scam for $2200? Looks really, clean, it's one of the few body kits i can deal with, and has some pretty standard bolt ons. Hoping the seller contacts me back and he's not Nigerian. If this is real, i'm so on this. I'm hoping it's just a rich kid that doesn't know what he has.

(Interestingly enough, this is NOT the only $2xxx range SW20 MR2 turbo in the area, and the other one is definitely not a scam.)

That's bang for your buck, right there.

The kit doesn't look half bad, and you could probably sell off the baller wheels for some profit/budget recoup.

I just can't shake that this is a scam, somehow. There was a stock bodied car with some bolt ons and a suspension that recently sold here for like $7k.

But if these things have TRULY gotten this cheap, then i know for certain what my next car is. I was going to get an MR-S just because they're starting to get cheap enough that i wouldn't mind doing payments on one from a dealer, but this is ridiculous. How can you pass up a $2k MR2 Turbo?

Yeah, silvertop or blacktop 20v. It's a superb motor. Fun fact, you can dump that motor into a lot of other cars, too.... Celica STs, Geo Prizms, the like.

TRD always makes me thin TuRD whenever I see it for some reason.

Eh, i can find good AW11s here for cheap if i'm patient, and i've seen a couple n/a SW20s for well under $2k as well.

I guess that first one WAS a scam. Bummer.
