That thing is awesome. Glad the yard is full and the bank account is empty, otherwise I'd have some explaining to do.

Side note: my grandparents used to live in Cotuit.That van is without a doubt the most exciting thing in that town. What a boring place to live.

Many of my teenage years were spent riding in a Greenbrier, Corvairs or a VW Camper bus with a Corvair driveline swap. Back in '63-'64, Road & Track did an article about how to upgrade Greenbrier suspension pieces and make it family van with "sports car handling". With manual transmission, IRS, rear engine, comparatively low ride height, etc., it stood out well against to the tall, very truck-like, live axle, leaf sprung, etc. Dodge, Ford, and other Chevrolet vans of the day.
