An old British race car...been off road for many years I brought to US but never used it for racing.
It is a 1350 cc race motor which needs some carbs work now as it has been sitting,. Also has close ratio box no details too long ago. It is race prepaid , no interior just Corbeau seat, roll cage, shut offs etc. Sits on an open registered trailer, race wheels plus 2

I was looking for the damn engine. These things were flat fours, right?

Pass. I couldn't get use to shifting left handed.
.
It sure is interesting though.

Shifting left handed is not hard. I was surprised.

Yup- unique to the Alfas made in Italy Sud.
Surprising that someone in the club would not snatch this thing up quick, especially for the price. A car this rare here would at least have some demand. At a minimum, the same price as an Alfetta race car with racing history.
Wheeler Dealers did an Alfasud.

Wow, that seems like a great deal. Doubly so assuming the trailer is included.
That does look like a great deal!
Too bad it's a half a country away.
Cross posted this to the alfabb.
Better get it before you need to import it.
The trailer is worth half of the $1500. This would be a different toy to show up with at an open track day. I think it's a 1980-83 version so it's not likely eligible for vintage racing with a lot of organizations, although it's over 25 years old.

Shifting left handed didn't take long to get used to. Knowing where the right and left corners of the car were, well, that just never happened.

I bet a lot of places would let it. It's not going to blow anyone's doors off, and would be interesting to see on the track.

I saw that on bring a trailer today, and it's a good thing I was late to the show. I had wifely approval, plus somebody with a tow rig that was up for a road trip. Almost everything was in place to bring it home. If it pops up again I don't know if I want to be told or not.

Shifting right handed was easy.
I just saw the Wheeler Dealers episode on this. Looks like a pretty neat car, and that drivetrain looks like they should have put it in the back of something really cool.
