Oh man.
AWFUL timing.
I'm not entirely sure what i'd do with it, either. 6spd GTS clone? Stupid turbo V6 swap? Old school 3sgte?
That's a great deal for someone with more time and space than myself. The stock motor is cheap, but honestly, i'd just go ahead and throw in the 2zzge with 6spd for not that much more, and essentially end up with a GTS for like... $3k.
Slightly earlier and running for a tad more: $1300 Not mine, no relation, blah, blah,

Your other cars are SO much more interesting than that one.
(But I have driven a GT and liked the way it handled, certainly.)

I'm constantly on the lookout for a 4th gen GTS notch.
Unfortunately, that one is missing the "S."

You're more than correct, but in my "old age" i'm kindof jonesing for a car that can be interesting with just bolt ons, rather than a full-blown motor swap and a complete rebuild of all things suspension. Would probably be a bit more consdusive to daily driver duties, too.
But i guess at the end of the day, MY Celica is sexier.
