Rear diff?
do you still have the MAF sensor and/or the fuel rails/injectors?
I think the diff is available...Jim will probably reply later tonight to confirm. Last time I was under the car it was there.
All engine related parts needed to make it run are going in the Wartburg, so MAF and fuel bits are not available
The rear diff is there but not believed to be any good since the rear drive shaft had been pulled from the car for some reason.
I'll see if the guy who's hauling away the carcass can manage it if its not a roller but if not then I have to leave it there.
As Sonic said, all engine related components are spoken for.
I guess it doesn't sound like a diff I'd be interested in.

Yeah, I can't say for sure the condition on it since they pulled the rear shaft, but I think it would be a gamble at best and probably not worth your time and effort.
Usually when they pull the driveshaft it is due to the transfer binding in the trans. If the axles were still connected to the diff, it was still spinning around as the car drove.
Woody, what ratio rear diff are you looking for?
How much of the car is left? i'm looking for a donor suspension/awd system...
