Pit bike (or commuter)

Time keeps going by and I'm not getting around to this... 2002 kawasaki ex250r (baby ninja). Was going to do a cafe racer look, but haven't touched it in a year or two. Has 4k miles. Mrs. Oldtin loaned it out to a "friend" to learn how to ride on. It came back with a blown cylinder and no offer to fix. Anyway, It has a replacement engine - also with about 4k on it. The carbs need a good cleaning for it to run decent. Still have all the original body work to go back to factory look. All in great shape except for a ding in the tank. $800 takes it.

That's pretty much exactly what I started with in '04. Would love to do it over again. They make great commuters. GLWS!

really sucks that the trip to go get this would turn it into a $1500+ bike =/

Yeah, I saw this earlier and said to myself, I've been wanting to try fabricating a tank and fenders....this would be a good cheap way to do that.....too far away, though
