Way berkeleying cool . Even has the 1950s fare list in tact.
Maybe the body would drop on to some modern chassis, ala a certain Challenge car from a few years back.
My folks once owned a car very similar to the "parts" car, and I learned to drive on it. Fortunately, I got to take my driver's test on my sister's SLIGHTLY newer '54 Plymouth Belvedere. Stock, these things are indestructible, with the rockers being the most likely areas for rusting. To drive? Stock, they are like old trucks, with heavy loads, and no power steering. You sit on a seat that would make you feel like you are HIGHER off the road than your dining room chair is off the floor.....like on old sofa.
If I had the time, money, and/or expertise, I'd drop both on newer frames, with the requisite newer engines/transmissions, but keep the bodies as close to how they look now.

I would love to visit his workshop. Just for the rotary batmobile limo thing, the whale, and now this.

The man is quite insane. We have discussed joining forces for a project but we fear implosion due to the utter wierdness we would create.
