It still drives straight and starts up first try ever time. 1984 jetta with the GLI package. Car is very rare, only made for one year. I'm the second owner of the car. It sat in a barn for 10 years before I bought it. Car runs and drives down the road great. Needs minor work, for being 28 years old it is in great shape. Driver seat has tears but other than than interior is fine. Has very small spots of rust. Has all trimming on car still and the original black paint isn't bad at all. Car needs front brakes, a muffler, and the idle needs adjusting. Runs great but when you aren't giving it gas the car stalls. I have no idea how to fix but have been told its very simple. Has the rare 1.8 liter motor and is surprisingly very quick. 147,000 original miles! Newer tires all around. Overall car is great, use it as my daily driver where I commute from tc to lake Ann every day with no problems. Good gas mileage. I race dirt bikes tho and totaled my truck over the weekend.
