Saw this CL ad and decided I had to go take a look...

The cars are all pretty rough...

The Pontic is some sort of a V-8 powered, 4 door 50's model. The Buick has a straight 8, and is a 3-holer four-door. The amazon Wagon has some rust in the front fender wells, and behind the rear wheels...the interiors of everything are wasted as you can guess.

The tractor seemed restorable, though:

And unlike the cars, the engine on the Allis turned over.

The cars have no titles, and no real hope of being restored. Even I passed on the wagon...it was too rough. They'd be parts cars, or possibly body donors for a "rat rod", at best.

I have more pics, if anyone's interested. The seller was anice guy, so a trip out to see them would be worth while. He's just north east of Baltimore, MD

This is how I imagine things would go if I ever was told of a barn find by word of mouth.

The kicker is, this guy's owned the place for like 12 years, and it came with the cars and tractors. Why he decided to get rid of them now, instead of 12 years ago...

You could probably thow a battery and some fresh gas in that Allis and fire it up.

based on the hole in the lower center of the grill I would say you mean hand crank it up.

The Volvo is probably worth saving if only to part out to save some of the more "unobtanium" bits like trim and the glass. Not by me, though... I said that about my ES eleven years ago and I still have it...

More pics of the 122. Apologize for the quality, I was using my cameraphone and the barn was quite dark.

I really wanted to, but I just bought another Amazon wagon...that said, if anyone here does want to buy it, I'd go in halvsies with them if I could grab a few parts. I could use the driver's side doors, rear hatch, and possibly the wheels. The engine's seized, the nose is pretty smashed up, and there's no title.

My wagon has rust in the exact same spot on the inner fender wells.

That's common. Interestingly, though, as much rust as this wagon has in the inner fenders, and behind the rear wheels and under the tailgate...the floors are solid.
