Have a good percentage of the parts needed to install a Buick or Rover alloy V8 into an MGB or other small car.
I do not have the engine itself (readily available out of broken Land Rovers/ Range Rovers) but I have the all but impossible to find manual bellhousing (used), lightweight flywheel (new, over $250), new pressure plate/clutch kit, TR7 5 speed manual transmission, and a Mazda RX7 GLS 4.10 limited slip disc brake rear (complete with rotors, calipers, and emergency brake). $600 for it all or might split.
In MD. All but the axle will be easy to ship.

If you decide to split it up please holler at me about the rear axle. I'll hafta see if the rest of my crew likes the idea better than our planned setup but it sounds like a good one to me.
I head down to MD all the time so I can pick up.
I can do $125 on the rear axle if you think that's reasonable. The axle is out and ready to go but I'll have to dig out the box of calipers, etc that go with it..
Thanks!
Bill
put a plug in for you on the mg v8 board
I'll give you $375 for the bell housing, flywheel and clutch kit. Which bell housing is it? The rover or the GM version. Does it come with the clutch pivot pin, release arm and throwout bearing carrier?
Thanks Todd... can't quite do that as the bellhousing (the GM version with an inspection/access window cut into it) and flywheel make up the bulk of the value. How about $450? I'll have to dig out the stuff to check exactly what is included. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking I don't have the release arm and T/O bearing carrier.

Let me get the consensus of the guys and I'll let you know asap.
What year is the RX7 rear from, pre mid 83 small bearing beam, late 83 large bearing beam, 86+ IRS. I am assuming it is a GSL which would be the solid beam axle.
As a 4.10 ratio it would be a GSL-SE, all others are 3.90, only the GSL and GSL-SE have the LSD.
GSL-SE have 114.3mm stud spacing, all others have the uniquely difficult 110mm.
If it is the correct one it is worth it.
Definitely solid axle and LSD; reportedly the smaller bearing setup as preferred by the racers. Not a Mazda guy... just reporting as it was sold to me; I was told GSL and not GSL-SE. If you can tell me how to verify/specify I will glad to do so.
Are you saying the the GSL would be 110mm and the GLS-SE 114.3? That I can check.
If you have the GM version, the TR release arm won't work, nor will the TR7 or TR8 release bearing carriers. You will need to invest in a Tilton annular sleeve throwout bearing to release the clutch. Also note that there are two GM 215 bell housings. Only one will bolt up to the T5. Not 100% sure on the bells, but I think one was for a 3 speed and one was for the four speed. I was only interested if it was the Rover bell housing. GLWTS.

Please let me know when you check, the guys are still debating this one and the bolt pattern is a concern.
The rear appears to be 4x110mm
