It is an EMS so it is a four speed. Probably no takers because he was asking $3500 at first and you can buy a perfect example for that.

Here was a couple of days ago that it was listed at $1650.
The car is local to me. I have watched on CL where it started at $4,500 in the Spring.
The listing is always vague about "needs a few items" but if I remember correctly from reading the different variations of the listing over the months one of the "few things" it needs is trans work.
I seem to recall getting the impression that the "replacement" engine is not compatible with the trans. I am not sure why this would be because I have no experience with Saabs.
I do remember that it is not drivable (but this is never really clearly exposed in his ads which seems shady.)
If you want it looked at, I can do it late today or easier on Saturday morn. Other versions of the ad that I have seen say that he is in Vickery or Lindsey. Ohio of which both are unmemorable, not-even-flashing traffic light, kind of towns less than 20 minutes from me.
I would highly recommend that you speak with him directly first. I know that he had an e30 up for sale in the Spring and I think he has listed some or all of the boats in the background of the pictures as well. I think he may be a boat dealer and I am not sure if he is a dealer for cars or just selling off his stock. I think, in Ohio, a boat dealers license would gain him access to used car auctions.
