Why do you need a new ABS Mobule? Most people I konw with late 90's early 00's VW products accept that ABS is a first 5-6 year feature only. The cost of replacement is so high you live with the lack of it. Of course, the fact they only show you the rear 75% of the car could mean the ABS already quit functioning and the car is actualy 2' shorter than before it failed.
Haha, yeah, some people sure know how to take pictures, huh? The back end looks good at least and $1k seems pretty cheap for such low mileage.

if the engine is good and not sludged up, that's a god price. I'd be much more concerned about the condition of that engine than the ABS.
