Looks like a lot of them went up recently, just saw this on my daily CL hunt of typing in rx7.

this is a few miles from me and I can take a look at it for anyone if interested. the description is wrong, that is not an 83 motor, looks like a 86-88 based on engine mount and front cover etc.

Really, what the heck?

Oh well, buy 'em before they scrap 'em!

Definitely an S4 6-port motor

A guy in the local car club just mentioned he's probably going to want to sell his '90 FC, so I might be rejoining the ranks soon.

Buy it, parts are probably going to become scarce soon.

In reply to Brett_Murphy:

I'm thinking about it but I already have a stockpile and I'm almost done moving. I just scrapped about eight 6 port irons (all bad).

I have 1 complete engine (next frankenwankel) and 2 mostly complete engines. If I source another center iron and 1 more s4 rotor I will have the 2 complete but just in pieces.

S5 NA engine parts are already becoming hard to find, but if you think about it, it is the lowest production spec out of the rx7s in that era.

This has also been on CL forever - http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/4478786061.html I emailed the guy about it a while back but that was about it, seemed okay but GR is pretty far from me. (2-2.5 hrs)
