I'm selling the motor out of the 87 rx7 I just got for my ls1 swap , bought the car not running, battery was dead , recharged and tested the battery , re-installed and cranked motor over, seems flooded, pulled egi fuses and almost starts, when i went to take the plugs out, they are brand new, and they all seem to be the same , not leading / trailing like they should be. since i am not interested in keeping the motor in that car i'm not investing any time/money into it ....
i knew the girl that drove it before I bought it and it ran fine ... i'd like to sell it all as a motorset including 5 speed transmission wiring harness ecu, airbox...everything! motor and car were bone stock.
located in naples FL , contact me @ j.e.chavez@live(.com) without the parenthesis.
i will update with the mileage
$500
On the plus side, the lower your price, the lower FMV on the 13B in my garage!

For people that are building Challenge cars, the FMV of parts that they may have lying around is important. If your used 13b is worth $300, that's what someone else can claim their used 13b is worth.

FMV has always been a problem with rotaries because cheap used ones almost always need a rebuild, which sort of kills your budget.
I must say, it between the following things, it is hard not to get back into the rotary business:
- The link I posted for the '7 near me
- This 13b setup
- the aluminum hood, s5 tail lights and s4 sport spoiler in my garage.
I'm really, really, really tempted to build another nice '7
selling the trans tomorrow , $100 for the motor all by it's lonesome ,
$50 for just the motor !!!

Wrong side of the Mason-Dixon for me, but I'll give you a bump anyways.

Same boat. Shipping on it just kills the deal somewhat. :sadpanda:

also....
This posting, and all the shipping quotes that followed proved to be quite detrimental to my marriage. Something about not paying attention to the wife...
