My laptop doesn't have a firewire port, and sony doesn't do usb streaming on windows, so I'm just going to bite the bullet and get an HDD camera.
EVERYTHING works on this thing. It is a fantastic, sturdy camera, with the original Sony bag, and several tapes. I'll record over all the used tapes so they won't have anything weird on them (used it for filming skateboarding for a couple years when my mini dv camera was stolen)
It is a 1CCD digital 8 camcorder (uses hi8 tapes). Has a manual focus ring, remote, nightshot (which actually looks really awesome and works VERY well.
Has the mount for light on it, b/w viewfinder and color lcd screen. Also uses SD cards for still photos.
15x optical/420x digital. I believe the stills it takes are 1MP.
mic picks up very well, still takes excellent videos.
it has a sticker on one side of it, and a couple of really small blemishes that keep it from being perfect condition.
also comes with charger (almost forgot)
I'd like to get $150 out of it, plus shipping, but willing to meet anywhere near charlotte or hickory nc.
I'll also includev a 4pin firewire cord because I have alot of them
