I should sell this. It's here in Maryland, and I can bring it to Carlisle for the import show if anyone would like.
It's two, or nearly two T-9 transmissions, completely disassembled. Several input shafts in various stages of conversion, an adapter plate, and I think a clutch disc and pressure plate, though I'm not sure of those last two at the moment. I bought it all as a pile from a guy who never finished.
It's been sitting in my shed for years, while I've pretended I would actually get around to using it. Now I'm the guy who never finished.
So, if I were to say you can have it all for $500, would anyone be interested?

Hmm... interested. Of course, I haven't finished (or even started) installing the T-9 for my GT6. Can you expand on "disassembled"? Big box of labelless stuff or is there at least some level of order so putting them back together won't be a big jigsaw puzzle?
Man I got way to much "stuff", took me for forever to locate this project.
It's both Ian. There's a big box of internal stuff. There's also several collections of common parts all wrapped together. There is also a copy of what looks like a factory manual on the T-9 transmission. Complete tear down and rebuild.
I can pile it all into the Spitfire for Carlisle, so we can pile it in your GT6!

Ok. I'll bring some cash and we'll hammer out a deal of some sort. My big fear is that there's some crucial piece missing and therefore neither transmission will ever work again, if you know what I mean.
Oddly enough, I'm mainly interested because I want a T-9 for my Volvo some day, so an "unmodified" T-9 would be preferred since I'm not sure the mods for a Spit install would work when fitting to a M41 bell housing and B20 engine. Of course, I know of only one company that sells a Volvo-to-T9 adapter and they don't have a great reputation for being reliable.
Hmm... how close are you to Leesburg? I'll be down that way this weekend and could stop by on the way home on Sunday.
