Is anyone down their local enough to this thing and can sit on it for say 6 months for me? I need it in my life. I think it will complete me.
In reply to nocones:
You thought my go kart would complete you.. I think you suffer from the same affliction I do, but I won't go into that.
That is probably the coolest automotive thing within my budget, but too far away that I've ever laid eyes on. I'm with nocones, that car fills a gap I never knew was there....
I'm freakin broke as usual! If someone could get an ex IMSA Camel GT car in the GRM challenge, that would be the tits!

With actual laps at Daytona, I would sure hope so. That's some serious history from a serious race. I knew a guy who wanted $5k for a total rust bucket of a GTV since it had just SCCA history. This is WAAAAY more than that. For $3000 less.
That is seriously a great project.
I've looked in vain for a picture of the car in action. Is anyone's google fu better than mine? It would be cool to see it as it raced.
The car is not a factory race car and is missing some parts. The front end is missing quit abit and no wheels. The engine in the picture is not the original engine that was in it.Its a single overhead cam.One of the guys that raced it still races cars so he might have some pics if you could track him down. The car was built by a race shop that I'm tracking down a person that worked there when the car was built.Ill try to get a picture from one of them. Its only about 45 min form here and I did want it but lots of work. The inside still has the orig paint but the outside was painted red.Dorr jams still orig.It look like a rainbow.lol
