Yes, I dragged home a 1972 BMW Tii to save it from the crusher. I don't need it, don't want it. It's been sitting under a tree way too long, gone back to the Earth.
Whatever floorpans, brakes, structural integrity, etc. is probably gone in my estimation. If you're building a LoCost, this may be you. Fuel Injected 1972 2002.
If you want to take the whole car you can use my trailer to move it.

I kinda want it. I would put a plate aluminum floor in it, get it running, clean it up a bit, and drive it as is.

The trailer worked fine, I swapped out the receiver hitch for one that makes the nose a little higher. It was lower than the rear, OK now.

I was given the car AND the guy's parents (where the car has been for 10 years) were so happy they threw in the beer.
I was thinking Tii powered Locost. CarKid, I can't imagine anyone on this board having the skill and patience to make this car whole again, but yes it's yours. You can even use my trailer to get it home. Lemme know if you're serious because I'm putting it on a BMW board.

I watched a 16 year old replace a fender on a Fiat Spyder using nothing but a chisel and a hammer, all that pent up youthful exhuberance aimed in one direction can get it done. This is more of a project than I care to take on, youthful frustrations may take you through it, but not me.
The car is not beyond saving, it's gonna take some doing that's all. I don't know how to rate this kind of stuff so if you have specific questions or need other photos I'll do what I can. Do you know/trust someone in my area to come and take a look at it? I'm near Albany, NY.
My opinion? Put the drivetrain in something else, sell the taillights and tchotkas for what you can.

Looks like that shock is about ready to punch right through the wheelwell! Yikes! Neat car, though. It'd be a hell of a torturous way to do the BABE Rally. How do the door sills look? I'm assuming they're pretty bad.
