1992 gmc 3500hd. Longggggg 180something inch wheelbase, straight front axle, 15k gvw, 19.5 wheels.
Good: 454/4l80e function well, 140k on odo. Was school board owned. Rear tires excellent tread.
Bad: needs rear brake line, i drove home as is because line is crimped off. Rusty. No bed installed
Go with truck: good doors with stainless mirrors, good fenders, grill and composite headlamp setup, 8' bed and/or 9' flatbed.
Clear Ohio title in my name. $1200.
the above listed parts(doors, fenders, flat bed, grill) are attached to a 1990 extended cab C3500 dually with a much more solid cab. it is/will be missing the cluster, engine, steering column, windshield, and rear window. the rest of the truck can go with the HD as a parts donor or to build an extended cab version that gm never made. or it could be stripped and scrapped to recoup some $. it also has a clear ohio title in my name, it was my daily driver for 5 years and when i downsized trucks i kept it around to hold the engine and afformentioned parts for my other truck. i can pull everything i need in a weekend with notice.
i gather from lack of interest this is a turd. it runs like a top and starts every time, but is a big project. i will $900 firm as it sits in the pics with no extra parts. one could wire taillights, strap the bed down, and drive it home carefully. trying to consolidate the fleet and get some $ together to fix the alavanche.

8 lug or 10?
I have been intentionally avoiding clicking on this thread, hoping that I would find it sold when I finally let my guard down.
Sonova...
10 lug.
i drove it home and have moved it around the yard while messing with it. there may or may not be a mouse family living in the glove box, consider them free pets.
I need your property - I have a small lot with a small garage - when I look at a project my wife always asks me: "Where are you going to store that"?
Over by that tree............
Only have 1 acre. Think the neighbor's wife hates me. Counting the borrowed roadmaster there are 11 cars and 3 trailers outside. Really working to get rid of stuff i dont need.
also willing to take some astro all wheel drive spindles with hubs, cv axles, and AWD transfer case and front driveshaft from a 9-7x/rainier/bravada of the 02+ variety. possibly a trailblazer/9-7x/envoy/ascender/rainier front diff as well, i have to see if i still have one of those. i have an idea and it's either going to be awesome or not work but i need the parts to try it.
Wish you were closer. I have a 87 flat bed tow truck that needs the truck replaced. The alu flat bed is in great shape as is the hydraulics. Wanting to have the ability to tow / flat bed my cars around. As well as anything else that I can drag up on it.
