I had almost the exact same Starlet once. Mine had a similar fuel problem that drove the previous owner crazy. He sold me the car cheap and I found out that the fuel tank had rust in it and it was seriously clogging the pick up.
Buy this car, remove the access plate in the hatch, pull the sending unit and observe all the rust. Remove tank, send out to have it cleaned, replace and have a great fun car for next to nothing.
That looks pristine for $450.
This is a mid-atlantic version with no price listed - so he probably wants too much. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/3140051855.html
Dear Any Car Manufacturer That Sells Cars in the USA,

Half the people here would love it, the other half would complain that it has too many cupholders and is too expensive at $18k.

you forgot about the third half that would like the car, like the price, but get upset at the marketing "conspiracy" that made it such a popular car
Want. Only because I've seen far too many of Mikko Kauppinen's videos for my own good.

Yeah, I bought this. The guy is straightening out the title now(actually in the mail. He lives less than 5 miles away. Nice guy. It comes home this week. Hence the Swift Part-out here in the classifieds. Starlet GTi anyone?

I always wanted to do a 4AGE swap into mine. The factory EFI in the 83-84 cars makes it easier to do if you want to run the stock AE86 engine management.
