Definitely not mine.

1985 600 ES turbo.

Looks fairly original and only 87k miles.

Ugh that 1980's red vinyl interior.

This car is aptly located not far from me in lovely Bayonne, NJ.

I remember when these were new and this car was considered to be pretty....interesting(?). But you have to remember that in 1985 Chevy and Pontiac were selling 4 cylinder Camaros and Firebirds and Ford had just recently upped the HP on it's Mustang GT to 225+-.

As far as hating (or liking) a red vinyl interior, I remember fondly when it was possible to buy a new car or truck with an interior that came in more than 1 or 2 colors, and certainly never in grey. The 2nd and 3rd new cars I owned came with red interiors (after the 1st one I told myself never again...) and my "old car", a TR3 had a red interior (all 3 cars were "double red").

Sure there are better cars built in 1985, for example a Riviera convertible in the same color combo, but for the money is this really all that bad a car?

My mom had one new in '85. Considering the other car we had at the time was a Ford Tempo, the 600 was pretty fun to drive and to me (a new driver at the time), seemed fast. Hers was gray or silver exterior with same color interior and a black top.

I recall one of the reasons she bought it was the 7 yr/70k warranty, which Chrysler very quietly slipped away from over the years.

The chick two doors up the street used to have a silver one. It was a good looking car.

Those wheels look cool on there, are they OEM?
