local - i think i know where its at even from the pic of the driveway. wonder how smacked it got in the front since the fenders are bent.

Too bad its an LT1. They were the hot ticket for a few years but are pretty much clownshoes after the LS motors were released.

Harsh words, LT1 is not exactly an anchor, 260hp stock with a few mods stock core is still good for 350hp and will 200K

Wonder why he went w/ the "corvette flywheel". My '97 used a "dual-mass" flywheel that can't be resurfaced. If your clutch goes, you gotta buy a new flywheel, too. Many vette owners opt for modifying an F-body flywheel. I dunno why you'd take an Fbody motor/trans and want to put a 'vette flywheel in there....

Maybe it was an automatic TA that the engine came from. Also, if your '97 was a Vette, it had an LS-1 anyway.
