Very Rare Volvo 262 Bertone Coupe for repair or spares.
Body in very nice shape, No rust or corrosion. Engine turns but not sure of condition.
Interior is all there but leather will prob respond to some conditioning.
New Windshield, New gas tank and new brake rotors and shocks all round. I just have too many projects to complete.
I have the bumpers and the lights etc.. All the rare badges to complete.
These cars are so unusual it deserves to be saved.

I used to tell people when I was A LOT younger, that I liked pretty much anything on wheels. BUT, for me, a 262 is a "instead of" car. As in, yeah, it's kind of nice, but if I had to buy a "rare" vintage Volvo, I'd rather it was a 240 GT INSTEAD OF a 262 Bertone. Or, if I was buying a rare, vintage Volvo, I'd rather iti was a 780 Bertone INSTEAD OF a 262 Bertone.
FWIW, I once thought the 262 Bertone might be interesting if the vinyl top was removed and/or it was all one color. But seeing this car? Nah, it doesn't do a thing for me. Sure, buy it and put a V8 under the hood, then you have a strange, old Volvo that goes quite fast and will leave lots of folks scratching their heads...but not me, not my money.
Of coarse its in Atlanta, that thing is begging for some box flares
