Not mine, etc.
I was so confused as to why that isn't rusty; then I realized you're in the South. I don't like air cooled VWs, but I'd have a look at that if I were local.

You should start buying these things and shipping them up here. I'll sell them and we'll split the profit. Seriously, I can't tell you what that car would sell for here because there aren't any here.

I would say probably $2500+
There's a newer model of this wagon around the corner from where my house is (in Fl.), it's about a '72-'73 as it has the bigger bumpers. It's painted a nice shade of red, and as far as I know is driven somewhat regularly. Therefore, it isn't available for under $700. Maybe I'll keep an eye on it?
I thought from what I read here or on Bat that folks were more in love with the notch and fastback models? I prefer the wagon, myself, for it's boxy load carrying. Having driven one tho back when it was nearly brand new, I can't say I'm in a big hurry to re-live the experience.
Hmmm....I'm heading down to TN Saturday...given the teepee in the background, perhaps a trade for some granola, trail mix and a Grateful Dead sticker could be worked out.
Did one of you buy it?

Did anyone get the contact info before flagging?
How about a VW Variant?
Can't say it's the same car, but the rust on the dash looks familiar.
