I hate being unemployed. If I had the money I would pick this one up.

I always liked the factory graphics on the white 86. Makes me want to wear some louvered sunglasses while driving.
If I ever buy another mk1, it'd be awesome to find the uber-rare burgundy interior. It kinda looks like the 80's puked in there, but I don't really care. I'd rock it.
The only problem is finding parts for those interiors, which you will inevitably need when your brittle 20+ year old plastic breaks. Fun times with old cars. Yay!
Is the second one a supercharged one? I see the t-tops and the different intake vent...I cant remember...
I still have some MR2 parts that need to go. I moved them around my shed this weekend, making room for junk from the garage so I COULD FIT ANOTHER LOTUS in the garage. Anyway, I still have (from a 1987 MR2), good: front bar thing that kinda braced around the spare tire, a dash without cracks including one eyeball vent, rear trunk lid (red, with hinges, clean, missing wing), engine deck lid (OK, with vent panel thing under the louver cut out). Pretty much pick up only in NW Arkansas as I don't want to mess with trying to box up a dash, for instance. Or you arrange packing and shipping. Prices: Make offer.

Can not tell from that photo if it is SC'ed.
T-tops were an an option across all models (though all SC's had t-tops.)
That side vent shows that the car is a '87-'89 model (though SC's were only offered in '88 & '89)
The only exterior clues to tell if it is a SC is the different engine cover with bulge to accomidate intercooler and a small green light on the dashboard to indicate when the SC'er came on.
Oh, how I loved my SC:

thats what i thought. My SC had a different kind of side intake. The only real way to tell is looking at the top of the engine cover. Oh, wernt they all T-top cars? If i remember right, all the SC cars were...
EDIT: damn, JRW beat me to it... ya, loved mine too...

"This is the first year of the MR2..."
1985 would be pissed if it saw that...
