My ol girl is looking to trade or sell her 94 cherokee country. This is the same old story, she had a full loaded 99 WJ Jeep, wanted something cooler looking, found this one so she sold hers and bought this, drove it for a week and realized it drives like an small SUV (which I love) and now she'd like to go back up to a full size. So here we are. The XJ is beautiful for being a 94 in michigan, it's got 150K on the dash, only bad part of the body is floor pans. The sunroof was screwed with by the previous owner and apparently broke so they took it off the track and put the glass back in, which is fine but it falls down a bit and then leaks. I was planning on just silicon sealing it shut. The door windows all work but the drives door needs a few switches, I did move them around and made sure all the motors are functioning fine. The brakes have been said to have been done, they stop fine but are a little soft, have looked into it yet. Glass is all good, interior leather is amazing condition, headline doesn't sag but because of water in sunroof from PO isn't the prettiest. All switches and knobs do what the should on the dash. There is a slight ticking noise under the hood, XJ forums say it's a lifter, hasn't been two bad or given me any grief. Lift gate struts need to be replaces. Needs a new belt, but it's included in the trunk. Over all with a spit shine and a little floor patching it'd be a great rig, honestly I don't want it to go but she does and it's not my choice. Just had an oil change but needs other fluids flushed. Was told 4x4 works fine, haven't tested it yet.
We are located in GR, MI. She's asking what she paid which is $2,500 but is completely open to trades for other SUVs without any major problems, she'd like full size, K5 Blazer/Jimmy, Ramcharger, suburban, cherokee chief, scout 2, ect. (She's got a thing for old SUVs)
