In rebuilding my carb, I discovered that I am missing a piece- the rod that connects and actuates the accelerator pump. I'm hoping that someone here has one of these that I can pick up instead of having to buy a whole carb just for the one part. I'll try and find a picture to point out exactly what it is for those who may not know. Thanks!

Is it possible to fabricate one from a piece of welding rod? I've done that on other carbs.
Any idea what model carb? There's heaps of linkage kits for various single Edelbrocks on Fleabay for $20 shipped, it's worth a look.
I actually managed to track on down when hunting through a salvage yard near my parents' place- I don't usually expect to find aftermarket carbs in salvage yards! Or for that matter, as many OEM Q-jets as I saw here either...
