My 1st-gen HD Hero is suddenly dead for some reason and I have some gear that only works with these earlier models, I want to replace it on a small budget and I don't need any features from the newer models anyway.

I've got a original HD with the battery battery bacpac I'm not using much (Have a Hero3 black) if it doesn't work out with clutchsmoke.
I'll dig it up and take some pics/description for you tomorrow.
I've got one with open and closed cases and two batteries used it maybe 10 times....

Used? Depends. I should be clear right now, I'm looking to keep it in the 2 digits. For about $100 I could get an SJCAM knockoff that's functionally similar to the latest GoPro (and compatible with all the mounts), plus replacements for the early-GoPro-specific gear I'd no longer be able to use.
I have one as well, but I'm a minimalist that doesn't need all the new crap so I'm happy with it.
