Its about time I make a coffee table out of an engine before I get too old and convince myself it is a bad idea. I am looking for your dead, blown, and incomplete engines hiding in sheds, garages, and basements. Looking for something within driving distance of Erie, Pennsylvania. I would prefer a V8 or something interesting like a rotary or boxer engine, but if you have anything for free or cheap please let me know.
I have a neon shortblock I dont need, but Im way too far away lol.
Dang. I have a Ford 2600 in the way. But I'm in Denver, CO. Hum. Now you got me thinking I need to make my own.
I don't suppose you're watching Top Gear?
In reply to Nitroracer:
i have a 350 block with main caps that you can have if you want to trade me something worth $20, like a $20 bill.
20 miles south of cleveland.
Not watching top gear, but wanting a winter project.
The more interesting ones:

I've got a 350 Chevy, and 289 and 351W Fords that I don't need. I'm not giving them away, but I'm about 1-1/2 hours from Erie.
This reminds me to get going on my own. I've got an aluminum V8 that needs a coffee table conversion kit installed on it.
