Greetings All,
I plan to change to a different carburetor than my Weber DGV for my 79 MG Midget.
I installed the carb on the car just over a year ago. I drove the car for 10 miles before other bad things happened that took the car off the road (not carb related). At that point in time it was working properly. The only change I wanted to make to it was a stronger throttle return spring.
Since then I freshened the carb with a gasket set from Pegasus (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=316&utm_expid=10520551-2&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pegasusautoracing.com%2Fproductdetails.asp%3FRecID%3D3067). I would have to think it is in good working condition, but I haven't had it running on my rebuilt engine yet. If you want the jet numbers I can get them for you, but I did check them to be sure it was properly jetted for a 1500 Midget.
It comes with the air filter housing, but could use a new filter. The guy I bought it from sent his old dirty one.
It also comes with what I believe to be a Pierce manifold for the 1500 Midget engine. It isn't marked Cannon and matches the pictures at the Pierce web site. Good enough for me!
I am asking $125 plus $12 shipping to the continental US. I will ship in a flat rate USPS box. The carb is also listed for sale at the MGExperience and the Triumph Experience- I have images posted there. I can email images if someone here is interested.
Thank you for your consideration,
Brian
