Not mine, never heard of one before...
This is a 412 Wagon Automatic with a good running motor it has a solid body with factory A/C. The front seats have some tears in them the back seat is in good condition. It will need a new headliner and a new fuel pump. The car is mostly done and is in primer the back tail lights have been shaved down and ready to put smaller one in but i still have the other ones if you would like to put them back in.The floor pan where the battery sits will need replaced or patched. It would be a good eazy project for someone with more time than me to fix. The motor is fuel injected but i also have a carb and intake system that could be put on it if u like. If you have any questions or need more pics just e-mail or call anytime.
Thanks

The follow on to the VW Type 3 wagons and sedans. Uses the type 4 (Bus) motor. Ugly but very good drivers. Most have been raped for their engine and left for dead.
I've always thought a 412 would look super cool done up like a 70's rally car. I actually prefer those to the Type 3, though I'm probably the only person on the planet.
In reply to jwdmotorsports:
Hell I HAD one! JThw8 is right, they were great drivers and I raped it in the end (what did I just say?) for the motor.
I'd like that as a project, if I didn't already have a full garage
I've always wanted a Type 4, but I'm out of room right now. As far as the styling compared to a Type 3, I think it goes '61-'69 Type 3>Type 4>'70-'73 Type 3.

Here is a cool 411 rally car. It has single headlights so I think that would make it a first year car.
I saw a 412 with a 4" chop, changes everything.

I never liked 412's and I'm not sure what's going on with the front bumper on that one, but I agree, it's probably got VW's best air cooled engine in the back.
i was thinking a corvair and a volvo had a one night stand
