Not mine, no way in hell I would claim it if it was mine. Holy E36 M3.

I'd totally build something like that. If I had a private lake...

Wait, don't you almost have a private lake?

Overpriced. You can get that same boat (same hull, same color, different stickers) right now at the local walmart for $154.00 I know, because I bought one.

Not just more engine....a little more fabrication would help a lot, too. Build a mount that puts the engine (say a 10 hp outboard) at the midline of the stern with proper steering linkage hooked to a wheel or stick.

I've had the idea to build a battle kayak for a while now...

Go with something bigger....more stable, more room for a deck gun.

Not sure I want a weed whacker motor screaming right in my ear the entire time. Not exactly a relaxing paddle.

I had a two stroke weed-wacker kicker motor on my jonboat for a while. It was loud and annoying. I sold it quickly.

That said, I put a trolling motor on my kayak a few times. It helps when fishing the big lakes or going down to the coast.

There is an entire company dedicated to the weed-wacker outboard engine:

my brother tried something like this in Louisiana to go duck hunting. He got out and his weedwacker died and had to paddle back with all the decoys, gun, and old dead weedwacker.
