Wow, this is only an hour away from me...it's so close, the money in my wallet seems to want to escape...

But seriously, when you start with free, how bad can it be??? Seriously, I'm not a boat person, so I really don't have a clue.

I sailed a 53' Ketch from Chatham to Nantucket once with the guy who maintained the boat (for a weathy out of stater) said that the annual costs of upkeep on a sizable wooden boat (fully restored mind you) ran to about $40,000 a year. Finishing this one..... scary.
