Needed to do a wheel bearing in the wifes 98 Forester. Could not get the bolt out for the ABS sensor...so i drilled it out from the back side. finally got it to come out then the dam sensor would not budge! no amount of oil or light heat would make it move. Ended up cutting the wires in frustration when i separated the hub from the spindle i could see the plastic was slightly melted from the heat i had given to the bolt so i took the 3 lbs sledge to it and the F'er wouldn't move. It's out now....but to messed up to put back in. cleaned out the rust in the hole and chased the threads on the bolt hole. They want way to much $$ for a new unit. Cars got 230,000 in it. Anyone got a ABS sensor kicking around?

Thanks 44
