So i'm looking to finish up my 10vt swap on my audi 4000q this summer in hopes of attending the grassroots challenge this year. My car came with an almost complete engine from a 5000 but I am currently rounding up the parts I still need, here is the short list for anyone looking for a little extra money and or space.
-
5cyl oil pump.
-
Intake plumbing. odds and ends, boots and pipes are what i'm lookin for, have some already, probly need more
-
Oil drain line for turbo. mine is smashed
-
MC2/Late NG camshaft
-
misc. megasquirt wiring. I like the labeled stuff lol. I have leftovers from my 280z but i may need more to make a complete engine harness.
-
In line Fuel pump. still running a GTI pump on the NA engine, looking at bosch 044 equivalent
-
K24 Turbo. I'll probly go with the K26 I have but if a good deal came up . . .
-
5k auto throttle linkage. the bigger piece that goes from the engine to the firewall.
still need all this as of 3/31
Quick payment is not an issue if you have what I need!
I can offer injectors and turbo bits from a 91 20V TQ but there is the high mileage gamble there. All the electrical bits are available too, but being Audi components I would highly recommend buying new. You will drive yourself crazy enough working with an older Audi's electronics, might as well start with new.

My cousin has an older S4, all I know about it is that its a 5cyl turbo. I will pass this thread on along to him!

Contact Clem Sparks, He has access to a friends rolled 5000 that has lots of parts.
I checked with my Audi-obsessed co-worker and he has some B3 Audi injectors (28 lb/hr) which have recently been sent off for cleaning/flow/service. Unless I am mistaken, I think he is asking $100 for the set of 5. If you are interested, I can put you in touch. Located in Portland, OR.
P.S. As a Japanese car nut used to cc/min, 4-cylinder engines, and Toyota/Nissan chassis codes, I hope/think the above information is mostly accurate.

I agree with you there. . . plus I think the 20v injectors are too large to fit inside those CIS to EFI injector bushings but I sure appreciate the offer.
CLNSC3:
Thanks man!
singleslammer:
I will deffinetly do that. thanks!

as I said to ghiamonster, i believe the 20v (if thats what it has) injectors are too large diameter (and probly too tall) but I still wouldnt mind chattin with the guy...maybe he has something else I need
What do you mean "CIS to EFI injector bushings"? The 20v injectors are just a standard bosch injector, so they'll fit where any normal efi injector will fit. If you're changing from CIS to EFI, you should be changing your injector cups. Just order the injector cups for a 20v or a digifant 8v VW. I think they're about $6 each.

I already ordered the 8v digi cups for around $2 actually. and those are what I meant by bushings, seems everyone has a different name for them. I guess I was making assuptions based on the pics i looked at. never had my hands on a set but they looked bigger than the other injectors I was looking at for some reason
I bought a set of siemens deka`s so it doesent really matter anyway. lol

I confirmed that they are 20V injectors. I showed him your original post and he said the injectors are the only thing he has on your list. Sorry I can't be more help.
