WTB---- Dodge Omni or Plymouth Horizon

I received a call today from a gentleman who is looking to purchase one of these. All cars will be considered. Preferably in the Southeast--- but he'll consider elsewhere.

anyone have an old Omni or Horizon laying around????

There's a thread title I thought I'd never see.

I knew where there was a very nice, low mile, original one...a couple years ago. Unfortunately, the seller thought it was worth 5x what it's true value was(probably still sub-$1k). Before he passed away he gave the car to his brother(it had been their mother's) and I don't know what happened to it from that point on. I'll ask my mother-in-law, as she cared for the guy before he died, if she has any idea.

Does he want the 2 door variety or 4 door?
Or does not matter?

Manual, automatic, either?

Just a friendly warning...when picking up one of these cars by hand to play a practical joke on someone, be sure to be remember how far that rear bumper sticks out when you go to put the car down.

As it turns out, this guy is working on a movie that Tim Burton is directing. He's looking for two Omnis or Horizons that they will paint to look identical. The cars will be used in the movie somehow. He called me out of the blue and asked for help. Thanks for the input guys!

Interesting story. I get a little chuckle that the guy likely reached out to the right place. My initial reaction would be to educate him on the power of the Atlanta CL. Ironically though, there are currently none on Atlanta CL other than the really nice GLS. Maybe that just proves again that Atlanta CL is the good place since what it delivers may be too good.
