Ive got a couple Chump races coming up and I wanted to pick up gear for a fire extinguisher pit member. Finding cheap used suits is easy but cheap used helmets is not.
If the helmet is used only for fueling it can be out of date like SA2000 or 95. I've been keeping an eye on ebay for awhile and have come up empty handed.
Does anybody have an old full face helmet stashed away in the closet they are willing to sell cheap? Ideally 50 or under?
I would like a large or XL so it has the best chance at fitting a wide range of people. I figure somebody that needs a Medium can get by with an XL but somebody that needs an XL cant squeeze in a Medium.

Its not for me. I need one for a fuel person and the rules require a full face with visor in case of fire.
Any other full face, with visor, SA rated helmets out there?

A year from now there will be plenty of 2005 SA helmets available.
I have one, I think it's a SA2000 size L. Yours for $5 plus shipping.

Sorry, I didn't. I pulled it out and it doesn't have an SA sticker anymore, however I know it is SA rated. It is a full face Shoei with visor, and is DIY wired for communication. Let me know if it will still work for you. username@gmail

Unfortunately not. Without the sticker it wont pass tech inspection.
We won a beat up ex dirt-track SA2010 last night on ebay for 38 shipped. Perfect for a fire extinguisher holder!
Where do old helmets go to die? I couldnt find one last year either.
Damn, dude I thought you had gotten one from bgkast. So I never looked. I'll go dig around in the shop tonight. I'm trying to remember where I put it.
