Hey guys I just picked up a 77 Repu and am looking for a good front bumper, uncracked dash pad, and original radio. Any leads are appreciated!

You'll never find an un-cracked dash. They don't exist unless someone has repaired it already. Which type of mirror do you need? These trucks came with several different types(west coast, small spot, large spot). Also I don't think you'll have any luck finding a stock stereo. I may have a bumper, but it isn't chrome. Well I have a nice chrome one, but I'm not selling it. I think I have a black one that is straight.

I think it's the large spot mirror, but let me check the bolt holes. Looking for a chrome bumper....mine isn't bad, but could be better. I guess I'll have the dash recovered.
I'm going to research the stereo issue....hoping they used the same one across several models.
As far as courier parts, so far it seems like most everything is slightly different and I'd like this to be as close to stock as possible.
This may be the hardest vehicle I've had to wrangle parts for. I can't even find a whole parts truck to buy. Looks like it's time to join the Mazda forums.
Do check out FordCourierNation on facebook too, if you're on facebook. Parts and parts cars pop up there from time to time.

Well you have the rarest model year of a very rare vehicle. What do you expect? Technically they may have made less 76 models, but the 77 is a single year model,so some thingsare impossible to find. At least with the 74-76 models pretty much everything is the same, but man the 77 is just that much different. Worth it though with the larger cab and better electrics. Good luck with your search. What color and transmission do you have?

I own some rare cars, so expect some issues, but it is surprising the lack of aftermarket and forum activity....even the Mazda forums are pretty dead. I'll find the parts eventually, but it'll either take longer than I expected or I'll have to pay the price to get someone to let go of parts they're reluctant to part with. While I'm waiting I'll work on the other needs like carpet, having the bench seat recovered, and prepping for paint. My biggest worry is the bumper though since mine is pretty tweaked. If I can't find a good chrome one I may have to get a painted one and have it chromed.
Mine is the medium blue exterior with light blue vinyl interior and the 5 speed transmission. So far I really like it... Drives great and the larger cab is much more comfortable for me (long legs) than my buddy's courier with the smaller cab.
You have a nice truck. I read your thread on it from awhile back and it gave me some inspiration for this one.

My feeling on the lack of activity and support for these trucks is simply due to the fact that there just aren't many left in the wild. They sold a bunch (relatively) in 74, and 75 but not much after that. They weren't super special back in the day, and most rusted away, so there aren't the numbers you would find from almost any other vehicle. Good luck these trucks are worth the effort.
