wtb rx-7 1st gen 13 wheels rims challenge car

Hey just wondering having some trouble finding rims and tires for the challenge . Want bigger set than stock rims and tires on it now . Can return after challenge if need be . 1981 rx-7 .......... or any leads on the best width and manufacture of 13s that will fit on a 5.5 rim THanks karl

I have two sets of 83 RX-7 Limited Edition 14" BBS alloys that I could loan you if you would like them. The only issue would be getting them to you,but it shouldn't be too tough. I have a set with crappy 15 year old Dunlops that don't hold air that I could dismount,or a set with 5 year old Falken Azenis 615's on them. I wouldn't want to trust them in a competition,but they are fine on the street. Beyond that I have a set of 15"x7" Weds on my car now that are sweet looking with the same Flakens on them as well,but a larger size.

I am in MA,so that makes things tough,but not impossible.

hmmm I am meeting my brother at the petit lemons road atl next week ,,,, then off to the challenge ,,,, he lives in midddletown NY then would have to ship back .................................ok well appreciate it got you on my list

I may have what you need. I have lots of original RX7 rims and some BBS knock offs and some American Racing mags with the 4x110 bolt pattern sitting in my shop right now. They are all for my HP GLC but are not doing much right now but collecting dust. Some have some Avon slicks (7") on them, others with Hoosier slicks (8") and others with Hoosier Rains. Some of the original RX7 rims have street tires on them but not sure exactly what or in what condition. I'm in Tampa so I'm a little closer. Unfortunately I am not making it to the Challenge this year due to other commitments so you could either come get them or ..? I would want them back as I eventually plan to use them.

I got a set of 14x6 Hayashi Racing Street II's with nearly new Bravarius tires on them. Super light and decent stick on the tires. I also have 2 13x10 4-spoke Cragar's that are begging for drag slicks. All 4x110, all Challenge priced.
