Does anyone have a Pierce downdraft manifold for a Triumph Spitfire 1500 they'd like to sell?

Mine is damaged and I doubt repairing it will be easier or more effective than simply replacing it. Seems Pierce themselves is out of stock and darned if I can find just the manifold through any of the parts suppliers.

To satisfy curiosity, this will have a supercharger sitting atop it.

Thanks guys. Sent a pm on the system, we'll see.

Oldskewl, i greatly appreciate the work you did there finding a part number. Unfortunately, thats for the Cannon manifold, not the Pierce manifold. A Pierce manifold has a more pronounced dip than the Cannon manifold, by pretty close to an inch. So while the supercharger setup can fit under the bonnet on a Pierce manifold, it will not sitting on a Cannon manifold.

But again, thank you for the research you did.

IIRC, I've got an extra one sitting in the garage. Send me a PM, and I'll check tomorrow night.

You know, I may still have one. I can't remember if it was a Pierce or a Cannon.

I can look today after work...

Turns out I need mine–I have one Cannon and one Pierce, instead of two Pierces.

An entire 1500 with a Pierce manifold just popped up on FB in Ohio for $1000. Seems a bit pricey, but may be worth keeping an eye on. We're still in the "diagnostic" phase, but Robyn might still need an engine for her 1500.

Don't forget that 74-80 MG Midgets used the same engine. Check CL or eBay for someone selling MG parts.

Ok foxtrapper, it appears I sold the whole Weber setup including the manifold. But I do have a stock ZS manifold modified to accept a single HIF44 off of a B.

A word of warning- I bought it off of a guy who put a turbo on his 1500 Midget. He didn't use this one as it couldn't deliver the needed fuel (IIRC). I can't remember the details of his build though.

If you are interested let me know and we will make it happen.

Appreciate it paranoid_android74, but it's really just a Pierce manifold I need. Found one one ebay, but it costs money. None the less, I'll probably buy it just to get this project going.

You'll need to log in to post.
