WTB: Wangan Midnight

So I recently started playing Import Tuner Challenge on the 360 again, and decided to watch the series on YouTube while chasing the elusive Devil Z...and....its not there anymore.

I found a box set online, but its out of Singapore, and I'm just a bit leery of the site.

Would anyone have a set of dvds to sell outright? I am fine with English subtitles, and not sure if the series was ever dubbed in English, but that would be ok too.

You do realize you're asking someone to illegally pirate copyrighted material on a public forum, right? I, uh, doubt the minds at GRM would appreciate that.

Also, the series was never dubbed. I'm sure someone has a TORRENT of information out there for you on the series.

I don't know about the legality of using torrents either. Is it illegal to burn copies of a torrented program onto a dvd that it doesn't appear you can get in the states?

Maybe someone has an old copy they bought from Suncoast or something sitting around they'd like to sell. I would just like to see my obscure animated show, is that so damn hard?!

You know, I Googled "Wangan Midnight Anime" and there are 4-5 sites that have it streaming...also, as far as I know, the DVDs were never sold in the US, so no matter where you buy them, if they are subtitled, they will be from Hong Kong or Singapore or otherwise sketchy origins...and you know what those guys do? Torrent the series and burn it to a DVD! Torrenting copyrighted material is illegal, but so is getting someone else to burn copyrighted material to a DVD for you. One of them is a lot easier, though.

I saw the streaming sites, but my AV stuff started going ballistic, and I thought it best not to tempt fate.

So there's no way to get a legal copy of this show at all? Well, I suppose the devil z should be elusive, but this is a bit ridiculous.

I have the complete set of the anime. The English subtitles are a bit bad but will give you an idea of what's going on. You can buy them off of Ebay if you want them. There was a live action version made in 2009 and you can get that from Yesasia.com (but make sure you order the right region code).
