Im really curious.. of all the maximas, WHY an 89-92 vg auto?
bought one for 500 bucks w/taxes from a junkyard. why you ask?
was donated to charity, had a bad trans(no 2nd or 4th)

no rust at all...because it has 37,000 miles. its a 92. hilarious.
i've got a TON of part for these, and the VGs last forever. turns out the vg trannys suck a lot, so, we're thinking of upgrading to a Quest trans (WORLDS stronger, and it bolts up, looks like mounts work without fab too. ) gotta get a computer for it.

You're right. I really need to read carefully before responding. That's the third thread where I've recently said something stupid due to replying before reading carefully.
I have the body of a 1982 datsun wagon that I can probably pull some of the parts off of if people need them. It is a "maxima" back when that was a trim level of the 810/910 bluebird and not a separate model.
